A lovely primary school in Wimbledon are looking to recruit a Year 4 Teacher to cover a teacher’s maternity leave from when schools return.
This role is to cover the current year 4 teacher. The contract is initially offered for 1 term, but could extend for the right teacher. You will need to be an experienced primary teacher who is able to quickly establish a settled and calm classroom and continue the progress that has been achieved this year. The class are working at a high level and there is excellent engagement in learning activities. There are no significant behaviour needs and pupils with additional learning needs are provided with appropriate support. You will be given support with planning and assessment from your year group and the leadership team.
This is a calm and focussed school, where children are engaged in learning. Behaviour is very good across the school and pupils are given additional learning or emotional support if required. The school is a popular choice for parents in the local area. It offers good facilities and resources to support teaching and learning and pupils are given many opportunities for enriched learning.
