A primary school in Fulham are looking for an energetic and inspiring support worker to work with 3 young boys across their junior school with special educational needs and social and emotional needs.
This is an ideal role for someone who has worked in sports coaching or youth work and has some experience with children with special needs.
In this role you will be supporting three male pupils with Autism, social and emotional needs and anxiety. All the children you will be working with need support in lessons and in social situations with other children. They will need one to one mentoring and support throughout the school day. You will work with another member of staff so that you are not with the same child all the time.
You will work closely with class teachers, the senior management team and the parents to ensure all pupils are appropriately supported and you will regularly be involved in reviews and assessments.
This small primary school is situated in south Fulham and easily accessible by public transport. The leadership team have a community focused approach and there are strong links with the local parish church keeping the Christian ethos at the centre of school life.
