A vibrant, two form entry Church of England school in Peckham are currently seeking an experienced Year 6 teacher to join their teaching staff for the last few months of term on a part-time basis.
Due to an unexpected change in staff, this school are looking to recruit a year 6 teacher. The school are covering the class internally until SATS are completed, but would like an experienced teacher to cover the class from May – July. This is a part-time role, teaching 3 days a week and job sharing with the Deputy Head Teacher.
As SATS will have been completed, the focus of this role will be project based around other subjects particularly arts, sports and creative learning. You will be working alongside the Deputy Head to plan and prepare appropriate work.
The class are diverse and can be challenging so it is essential to have good classroom management and a positive and proactive teaching style.
