As a Therapeutic Learning Support Assistant you will be supporting pupils in daily lessons and in broader activities across the provision. You will be directed by the class teacher on your daily tasks, but these will always focus on the pupil’s learning and all-round development. You will be required to lead interventions and at times develop resources in order to support pupils. You will take on key worker duties for specific pupils which will involve supporting in their overall care plans and providing feedback as required. Your role will also involve attending meetings and review sessions.
The school are looking for a qualified, reliable and experienced SEN learning support assistant. You should have a positive, non-judgmental attitude and a warm, friendly and patient approach to supporting pupils with SEN.
