An exciting opportunity has just become available for a teaching assistant to join a vibrant inner London primary school in Camden.
The Role
The school are looking for a passionate, energetic and inspiring teaching assistant to work in their year 1 team. As a general classroom Teaching Assistant you will be supporting across all subjects and leading small groups in phonics reading, English and maths. Your role will involve supporting some pupils with additional learning needs within the class. You will be required to support with resource preparation and other administration duties from time to time. You will also need to support with updated cleaning procedures. The school are interested in hearing from teaching assistants who have experience in KS1.
This role is offered initially for the summer term, but there may be future opportunities at the school for an exceptional candidate.

This is a vibrant and exciting inner London primary school. Their adventurous approach to education allows pupils to gain a really broad range of life experiences alongside day to day learning. There is an extremely diverse intake with most pupils speaking 2 languages. Pupils at the school make good progress and they achieve good results in national assessments. The school has 50% pupil premium and ensure these pupils are supported and provided for effectively. The leadership team are energetic and creative and staff are encouraged to develop professional whilst at the school. Based in a Victorian building, the outside space is effectively used to provide fun and safe outdoor play and learning areas including a wildlife pond.
