A specialist SEND school in Redbridge are looking for a qualified Early Years Educator who is passionate about supporting young children with SEND to join their school on a full-time basis.
In this role you will be based in the specialist schools early years department. You will be supporting a class of 12 children from 3 – 7 years old all who have complex and medical needs. All children in the class require support with personal care including nappy changing, feeding and medical administration. Alongside play and sensory focused activities throughout the day many of the pupils require additional support in physical activities too so you should be confident to be able to provide physical care as necessary. The school is a specialist facility so can provide training and support.
The school are ideally looking for a qualified Early Years Educator who either has previous experience in care, or supporting children or adults with complex needs. There are also interested in receiving applications from non-qualified staff with extensive experience in care / special needs support work.
This role is offered on an ongoing contract basis initially until July 2022.

The school’s main focus is to support the Special Needs Community in Redbridge and the surrounding area to offer excellent opportunities for pupils and their families.
