A lovely Church of England primary school in Brent are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their staff with an immediate start to support a child with SEN.
In this role you will be supporting a pupil who has recently joined the school in the Early Years department. The child has autism and requires 1 to 1 support throughout the day to access learning activities and play alongside other children. The child is currently not using speech and so one of the main focusses for this child will be developing their communication skills. You will be working closely with the SENCO and class teacher to prepare intervention activities and play based speech and language development. You will have regular contact with the parents.
