We are currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a modern, forward-thinking school to support a child on a 1 to 1 basis.
In this role you will be supporting a child with Autism who require support specifically with Speech and Language. Within your role you will be supporting the child on a 1 to 1 basis during lessons in the classroom. Sometimes the child will be joining in with the class lesson and sometimes they will be working independently. A core part of this role will be providing speech and language interventions. You will be present during specialist sessions with the SENCO and external professionals and then be required to continue this work in your own session. Previous experience of working with non-verbal or low communication pupils would be preferable.
This role is offered on a full-time contract basis t0 July 2022. The school are looking for someone to start immediately.
