We are currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a modern, forward-thinking free-school in September.
In this role you will be based in the EYFS in the school, working across Nursery and Reception to support pupils with Special Needs. There are a range of needs across the classes, inclusing children with Autism, non-verbal pupils, complex needs and ADHD. Some pupils will already have support plans in place, others will be joining the school and undergoing assessments. You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO at the school, to provide support on a 1 to 1 basis and lead interventions for small groups and individuals.
The school are ideally looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant with previous experience, especially in speech and language.
This role is offered on a full-time contract basis from September 2021 t0 July 2022.
This 2-form entry co-educational primary free school is situated close to Burnt Oak tube station. The school opened in 2015 and is growing year on year, with a healthy in take from the local area. The school was rated good by Ofsted at their first inspection in 2018. The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum with specific focus on literacy and numeracy.
