An exciting opportunity has just become available for an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join an outstanding award winning primary school in Tower Hamlets.
The school are looking for a caring and experience SEN teaching assistant to work with a pupil with autism in their reception class. You will be supporting the pupil throughout the school day, working closely with the class teacher to prepare specialist learning and play activities. The child requires personal care and you will be expected to change nappies throughout the day. The child will be given individual targets to work towards and you will need to provide both written and verbal feedback to the teacher and any other staff member and parents as required. You will be provided with support from the Early years leader and the school’s SEN Coordinator. As the role is offered on a one term contract basis until July 23rd, the school are looking for a teaching assistant with extensive experience who can support the child effectively from day one.
