A lovely opportunity has just become available for an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join a vibrant inner London primary school in Camden.
The school are looking for a passionate and caring teaching assistant to work with a pupil with autism in the reception class. You will be supporting the pupil throughout the school day, working closely with the class teacher to prepare specialist learning and play activities. The child requires personal care and you will be expected to change nappies throughout the day. The child will be given individual targets to work towards and you will need to provide both written and verbal feedback. You will be provided with support from the school SEN Coordinator and external agencies.
The role is offered on a one term contract basis initially from April 19th – July 23rd.
