A welcoming and inclusive three-form entry primary school is seeking an experienced and committed SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September.
The Role
This exciting opportunity is based within the school’s EYFS/KS1 nurture provision, supporting children with Autism and a range of additional needs. Working closely alongside the class teacher, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a highly personalised and nurturing curriculum.
The HLTA will take responsibility for leading teaching and learning during afternoon sessions, managing the classroom environment and ensuring pupils continue to make strong progress. Dedicated planning, preparation and assessment (PPA) time will be provided alongside the class teacher to collaboratively develop both morning and afternoon learning opportunities and ensure continuity across the provision.
