A highly-respected specialist school, based within a hospital in North London, are looking for an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their staff in September on a full-time basis.

The Role

In this role you will be based within the school’s classrooms however, you will also occasionally get the opportunity to go onto the ward if this is something you are interested in. This is an SEMH role so the pupils you will be working with will have social, emotional and mental health needs for example anxiety, eating disorders, behavioural issues, depression etc. You would never be left alone with the pupils and will always have support from the Teacher as well as other members of staff within the classroom.

The school are looking for an SEMH Teaching Assistant with KS3 and KS5 experience and someone with a good academic background who can support very able pupils with SEMH.

This role is offered on a full-time contract basis from September 2025 to July 2026. The hours of the role are 9:30am – 4:30am Monday – Friday.
