A specialist SEMH school in Orpington are looking for two Learning Support Assistants to work with children and young adults with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs on a 1 : 1 basis.
As a learning support assistant you will be supporting a student in either year 6 or year 7 on a 1:1 basis during a range of lessons and vocational sessions. You will be working with students who have SEMH needs due to family issues, loss of a parent, gang culture etc. and must be confident in supporting young people with these experiences.
The school are not necessarily looking for direct classroom/SEMH experience, just a positive and resilient attitude and a dedicated approach. You will need to be able to commit to the role on a full-time basis.
Both roles are offered on a temp to perm contract with an immediate start.
