The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop curiosity, scientific thinking, and a strong understanding of Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

The Role

As a Teacher of Science, you will:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Inspire students through practical investigations and scientific enquiry.

• Plan and deliver lessons that challenge, engage and support learners of all abilities.

• Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.

• Develop students’ analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can achieve their potential.

• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.

• Support enrichment opportunities including STEM activities, Science clubs, competitions and educational visits.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4.

• The ability to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Key Stage 3, with a specialism in one Science subject welcomed.

• Excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science.

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

• High expectations of student achievement and progress.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

• The ability to contribute positively to a successful Science department.
