A welcoming, diverse 2-form-entry primary school in Thamesmead, Greenwich are looking for two phase leaders to join their school on a permanent basis from September 2022.
The school are looking for primary phase leaders looking for a new opportunity or experienced primary teachers looking to take on more responsibility. One phase leader will oversee EYFS and KS1 and the other will oversee KS2. Both roles will be class based but non-contact time will be given to undertake leadership responsibilities. You should have a proven track record of success within the classroom and will also possess the drive to raise attainment across the phase while contributing knowledge and expertise throughout the school.
The School
This 2-form-entry primary school is based in a diverse area of Greenwich and is accessible by car and public transport. The school became part of a of a trust in 2021 and has been benefiting from the support of other schools within the trust to make significant improvements for pupils. You will join a friendly and hardworking staff, where working towards a common goal is paramount. An experienced and focused senior leadership team are on hand to support all staff. In addition, children are engaged, receptive, working hard to challenge themselves and actively contribute in their lessons.
To apply for this role you must have:
- Experience teaching in the phase you are looking to lead
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS/KS1 or KS2 curriculum
- Two teaching related references from your last two employers
