Part-Time Tutor PRU Contract

We are currently looking for a tutor to work on a 1 to 1 basis with a year 10 pupil who is currently attending an alternative provision in Hammersmith.

In this role you will be providing 3 x 1:1 tutoring sessions each week for the pupil covering English, Maths and Science. The sessions are planned to take place in either the school site or at Kilburn library and will be 3 hours long.

The pupil is not currently attending mainstream school due to his behavioural needs and so the school are ideally looking for a tutor with experience in supporting pupils with previous experience working in a PRU or similar setting. You should have a positive and calm approach and be able to build relationships quickly in order to support learning as well as all round development.

There is an experienced and supportive leadership and teaching team in place at the school. You will be provided with guidance on session content and expectations. You will be responsible for some planning and lesson/resource preparation.

Days and hours for this role are flexible and will be confirmed on appointment. This role is to start ASAP.
