A lovely Church of England Primary school in Hammersmith and Fulham are looking for a part-time Teaching Assistant to support a child in Reception with SEND. 

The Role

In this role you will be supporting an Autistic child in Reception who is non-verbal and requires personal care. You will be required to support the child in and outside the classroom as needed as the child is very active. You will work closely with the class teacher and other senior professionals in the school to ensure the child is able to access learning and complete tasks and activities. 

This role is to start ASAP and is offered on an ongoing contract basis for the academic year. The school are looking for TAs with previous experience working with children with SEND either in a school or in another capacity. 

The School

This Church of England primary school is situated in Parsons Green in Hammersmith and Fulham.  The school is popular within the local community and there is good parental support for the school. They provide a broad and balanced curriculum which includes first hand experiences to challenge, motivate and include all pupils. Staff at the school are welcoming and friendly. As a 2-form-entry site, teachers and teaching assistants within the year group work closely together in planning and assessment for their respective year groups.
