A specialist nursery school in Lambeth, part of a successful federation, are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join their EYFS team from October 2026 to cover a maternity leave.
The Role
In this role, you will take on full class teaching responsibility within the Nursery setting, working as part of a dedicated EYFS team to provide high-quality learning experiences for children aged 3–4.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, creative and developmentally appropriate learning activities, both indoors and outdoors, in line with the EYFS curriculum. The children benefit from access to well-resourced learning environments, including dedicated outdoor spaces, allowing them to explore, develop independence and learn through play.
Your responsibilities will include observing and assessing children’s progress, maintaining accurate records of development, contributing to individual learning plans and working closely with nursery practitioners and support staff to ensure every child is supported to reach their full potential.
You will also play an important role in creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues, and supporting children’s social, emotional and communication development.
