ASD/SEN Students Learning Support Assistant
Location: Secondary School, South West London
Daily Rate: £96-110
Job Description:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the school we represent in South West London.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with ASD/SEN.
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
- Help students develop social and academic skills.
- Support students during classroom activities, ensuring their safety and engagement.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with ASD/SEN students in an educational setting.
- A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education or related fields.
