A lovely school in Waltham Forest are looking for 3 Learning Support Assistants to join their school in September to support children across various year groups.
There are 3 roles available:
Role 1 – Learning Support Assistant in YR3/YR4 supporting two children with Autism and ADHD (1 child in morning, 1 child in afternoon)
Role 2 – Learning Support Assistant in YR5. This child has diagnosed Autism & ADHD and has SEMH needs. You will need to have a confident approach with strong behaviour management skills.
Role 3 – Learning Support Assistant based in YR6. For this role you will need to have strong Maths and English skills. You will be leading small groups as well as supporting SEN students.
In all roles you will work very closely with class teachers and should have a collaborative approach. The school are open to applications from experienced teaching assistants and those that have experience with children with SEND and graduates looking to pursue a career in education.
All roles are offered on a 1 year, full-time contract basis.
