A lovely primary school in Camden are looking for a number of Learning Support Assistants to support children across all year groups with Special Educational Needs.

The Role

All the Learning Support Assistant roles are full-time within school hours. You will be providing 1 to 1 support for pupils with a range of identified Special Educational Needs. Children’s needs will be caried but many will have autism, learning difficulties and/or emotional/behavioural needs. You will support pupils on a 1 to 1 basis within the classroom and support and lead 1:1 interventions as required. You will work closely with the SENCO and class teachers to ensure learning activities are prepared and delivered each week.

This role is offered on a full-time contract basis and will be ongoing until July 2023.

The school is 2 form entry and teachers and leadership work closely together to support all pupils to make progress according to their individual level. There is a broad and balanced curriculum offered where high standards and creativity go hand in hand. There is a strong focus on the well-being and achievement so that children’s experience in school is rewarding, enjoyable and successful. There are good opportunities for professional development for staff.
