We are currently recruiting 2 graduate teaching assistants to work in an outstanding, Muslim faith primary school in Hackney on a full-time contract from September 201.
In this role you will be working in a class in either KS1 or KS2 to provide general classroom support and work with pupils who have additional learning needs. Your duties will include supporting pupils during whole class lessons as directed by the class teacher. Sometimes you will just be supporting one or two pupils who need help to focus and listen during lessons and helping them to manage their behaviour. Your role may also include leading small group work in phonics, reading, English and Maths and supporting pupils during break and lunchtimes.
The school are looking for a confident and dedicated graduate teaching assistant to fulfil this role. You should have experience working with children, although previous experience with SEND is not essential as support and training will be provided by the school.
