We are currently recruiting a graduate teaching assistant to work in a 2 form-entry, ‘good’ primary school in Greenwich with an immediate start.
In this role you will be working in keystage 1 supporting all pupils in the class. Your daily duties will involve supporting the teacher to prepare learning materials for daily lessons, supporting groups and individuals during lessons. At times you may be required to deliver small group intervention sessions in reading, phonics and maths. The school are looking for a confident and dedicated graduate teaching assistant to fulfill this role. You should have experience working with children and ideally be looking to pursue a career in education.
The school is part of a federation of schools across the borough of Greenwich. The school which you will based in is located close mainland rail stations with local bus links. As a 3 form entry site, teachers and teaching assistants within the year group work closely together in planning and assessment for their respective year groups.
