An exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified level 3 trained Early Years Educator or highly-experienced Teaching Assistant to join a diverse and welcoming primary school to work in their Early Years Department.
The role
The school are looking for a dedicated Early Years Educator with enthusiasm and experience to work in their Early Years department on a full-time basis. There will be a particular focus on Phonics and in this role you will be required to lead small group phonics and reading sessions. You will also be supporting the teacher in planning and preparation and in play based learning activities, both in the classroom, outside and within the forest school. Your role may also involve some focused support for pupils with SEN.
This role is offered on a 1 year contract basis initially.

The school has developed a forest school within their grounds and this is used within the foundation stage to develop principles of freedom in play, creativity, socialisation skills and emotional stability. There is a caring and established leadership team in place and you will be working with an experienced staff team who are passionate about children achieving the best possible outcomes.
