A large secondary All Girls school in Barnet are currently looking to appoint a qualified Design and Technology teacher to teach resistant materials and product design leading in woodwork from the next year term on a permanent contract.

The Role

The school requires a well-qualified and dynamic Teacher of Design & Technology to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the subject area.  The successful applicant will be a confident, outstanding practitioner who is passionate about the subject, able to teach across the key stages with specialism in textiles in Key stage 4 & 5 and who seeks to continuously develop and enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the subject. 

You will be responsible for all aspects of the teaching and learning, assessments and coursework towards examination. You will be joining an established team in the technology department with good support and career development opportunities.
