The Role

As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, working closely with teachers and the SEN team to provide academic, behavioural, social, and emotional support.

Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs within the classroom.
• Providing 1:1 and small group interventions.
• Assisting children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
• Supporting behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation.
• Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and independence.
• Building positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement in learning.
• Supporting teachers with classroom activities and learning resources.
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
